Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using kiariya (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. kiariya is operated by Carolina Simasco ("we," "us," "our"), contactable at karolina.simashko@gmail.com.
Description of the service
kiariya is a curated video discovery app for young children, intended to be used with parental supervision. The App works in two ways:
- Embedded content: some videos (sourced from YouTube and VK) play directly within the App using those platforms' official embed functionality.
- External links: some content (including Netflix and Disney+ titles) is shown only as a thumbnail and title within the App. Selecting this content takes you to the official third-party platform, where you will need your own account/subscription to that service to watch.
kiariya does not host, store, or stream any Netflix or Disney+ content, and does not host any YouTube or VK video files directly — all video playback of embedded content occurs through the official players of those platforms.
No affiliation
kiariya is an independent, unofficial curation and discovery app. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to YouTube, Google, VK, Netflix, Disney, or any of their affiliates. All trademarks, logos, and brand names referenced or displayed in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the content being referenced.
Intended use and parental supervision
kiariya is designed for use by young children together with a parent or guardian. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise use of the App and to review any content before allowing a child to view it. We curate content in good faith but cannot guarantee that all content will be suitable for every child in every circumstance, and we are not responsible for the content, availability, or behavior of third-party platforms (YouTube, VK, Netflix, Disney+) once you leave the App.
No account required (currently)
The App currently does not require account creation, sign-up, log-in, or the submission of any personal information to use. If we introduce account functionality in the future, it will be designed for use by a parent or guardian, and these Terms will be updated accordingly before that feature is introduced.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to attempt to circumvent, disrupt, or interfere with the App's operation or the operation of any third-party platform it links to or embeds, or to use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The curation, organization, and original design of kiariya (excluding third-party embedded/linked content, which remains the property of its respective owners) belongs to us. Third-party thumbnails, titles, and embedded video content remain the property of their respective copyright and trademark holders and are used for identification and linking purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App, or any third-party content or platform it links to, will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every user.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any content encountered on third-party platforms after leaving the App.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be clearly announced, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
