Who this app is for
kiariya is a video discovery and viewing app designed for young children (approximately ages 3–6) to be used with the involvement and supervision of a parent or guardian. It does not currently require account creation, sign-up, or the entry of any personal information by any user, child or adult, to use the app.
Information we collect
We currently collect only aggregate, non-identifying analytics data, including:
- Approximate visitor counts
- Approximate general location (e.g. country/region level, not precise location)
- Bounce rate and general usage patterns (e.g. which pages are visited)
This data is collected through our hosting/analytics provider (Lovable) and is used solely to understand overall app usage and improve the service. We do not use this data to build individual profiles of specific visitors, and we do not use it for targeted or behavioral advertising.
We do not currently:
- Require or collect names, email addresses, or other direct personal information from any user
- Use advertising trackers, pixels, or third-party ad networks
- Allow children to create accounts or submit any personal information directly
Children's privacy
kiariya is directed at young children but is intended to be used with parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we introduce account features in the future, they will be designed for use by a parent or guardian rather than requiring a child to enter personal information, and this policy will be updated accordingly before that feature launches.

Third-party content and embedded platforms
kiariya displays video content from third-party platforms:
- YouTube and VK: videos are embedded directly within the app using each platform's official embed functionality, in privacy-enhanced mode where available (e.g. YouTube's youtube-nocookie.com embed domain). These platforms may collect data according to their own privacy policies when a video is loaded or played.
We encourage parents to review the privacy policies of YouTube, VK, Netflix, and Disney+ directly, as your use of those platforms (when you leave kiariya) is governed by their own terms.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect payment information (the app is currently free), precise location data, device identifiers for advertising purposes, or any information directly from children.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only minimal, technical cookies/analytics necessary for the aggregate usage statistics described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited, non-identifying data we collect, using our hosting provider's standard security practices. As we collect no personal information under normal use of the app, the risk associated with this data is limited.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves — particularly before introducing any account or sign-up functionality. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made, and material changes (such as introducing accounts or advertising) will be clearly announced.
